Common questions

Is this right if we don't have a PDA diagnosis?
Yes. PDA is widely understood as a profile of autism rather than a separate formal diagnosis, and many families come to us without one. If the demand-avoidant pattern fits your child, everything here applies.
How does this compare to going private?
Privately, an hour with an educational psychologist, therapist or SEND consultant often costs £120 to £150, which puts it out of reach for many families. We built Remarkable Minds to change that: the same calibre of vetted UK specialists, at a price ordinary families can manage. The whole bundle is £135 for three 1:1 sessions, because specialist SEND support shouldn't only be for the wealthy.
What does the bundle cost?
£135 all-in for all three 1:1 sessions: £45 less than booking them one at a time (£180). No subscription.
Will I be told to be firmer or use reward charts?
No — quite the opposite. PDA is one of the few profiles where stricter boundaries and reward charts usually make things worse. Our specialists work in the low-demand, collaborative way that families with PDA children consistently find helps.
Who delivers the sessions?
Each session is matched to a vetted UK specialist experienced with PDA — an educational psychologist or autism/PDA specialist for understanding the profile, a SEND specialist for school — all checked to the same standard.

Lower the pressure, for everyone.
