Common questions

I've been refused — how long do I have to appeal?
Appeals are time-limited: you generally have two months from the date of the decision letter (or one month from a mediation certificate, whichever is later). It's tight, so the sooner you start building your case the better. Bring us the letter and we'll help you work out your deadline and your next move.
What are my options after a refusal?
Usually mediation first, then an appeal to the SEND tribunal — and you can do both. A specialist will talk you through which route fits your situation, what each involves, and what a strong case looks like, so you're not guessing.
What are my chances at tribunal?
Most parents who appeal to the SEND tribunal succeed — but a well-evidenced, well-prepared case is what makes the difference. This bundle is built to get yours into that shape.
How does this compare to going private?
Privately, an hour with an educational psychologist, SEND consultant or lay representative often costs £120 to £150, which puts it out of reach for many families. We built Remarkable Minds to change that: the same calibre of vetted UK specialists, at a price ordinary families can manage. The whole bundle is £150, because specialist SEND support shouldn't only be for the wealthy.
What does the bundle cost?
£150 all-in for all three sessions: £30 less than booking them one at a time (£180). No subscription.
Do you represent me at the hearing?
Our specialists prepare you and your case, and some are experienced lay representatives. Whether they can attend depends on the specialist and your needs — we'll match you with someone who fits, and you can ask them directly.

Don't take the refusal as the final word.
