Thorough and effective, and good value against the legal alternative. I'd just say go in knowing it's genuinely intensive, it's a lot of work between sessions too. But we won, so.
Matched quickly, prepped properly, and won the placement we'd fought two years for. Same specialist the whole way, which I'd rate five for. Knocking one off purely on price, it's a serious outlay, though set against a barrister it's nothing. Recommend it regardless.
Former SENCO running our sessions, so she knew exactly which bits of school evidence would carry weight and which wouldn't. The written plan after every session meant nothing slipped through the cracks in the run-up.
Built the case brick by brick over a few weeks. The local authority's witnesses fell apart and ours didn't. That's preparation.
I cannot tell you what it means to have someone who already knew our whole story sitting with you through the worst of it. By the time we reached the hearing I wasn't alone with it any more.
The hearing itself was the calmest I'd been in months because we'd rehearsed it. She'd warned me how the questioning would feel and she was spot on. Provision secured.

Common questions
Is this instead of a solicitor?
It's specialist SEND and process support, not legal representation. Many families use it alongside a solicitor, or on its own — we'll be honest about when you need formal legal advice.
Three sessions feels like a lot — do I need them all?
Appeals build over weeks. Having case prep, evidence and meeting practice with the same specialist is what stops you starting cold each time. You set the pace.
