The research behind it
Every EHCP must be reviewed at least every 12 months under the SEND Code of Practice 2015 and the Children and Families Act 2014. These three sessions mirror that statutory sequence: evidence and parent views before the meeting, preparation for the meeting, then specialist SEND-system guidance after the LA decides whether to amend, maintain or cease the plan, not legal representation.
How we'll know it worked
In session 1, you build a gap list and rate your confidence in the plan. The final session opens by comparing the amended plan with that baseline, so you can see exactly what the review secured and keep a written summary as SEND evidence.

Common questions
Who attends, and is it online?
The programme is fully online: three 45-minute video calls for you, with partners and other carers welcome to join. Your child does not attend.
What if the review does not change the plan?
The LA decides whether to amend the plan, so no outcome is guaranteed. If it fails to amend or decides not to, the final session says so plainly and maps the escalation route, including SEND Tribunal Preparation if you are heading towards an appeal; if a different programme, specialist or updated professional evidence fits better, we will tell you.
When should I book?
Book as soon as the review date is set, ideally at least three weeks before the meeting. That leaves time to check the evidence and submit your parent views before the meeting, then use the final call after the LA's decision.
Is this legal advice?
No. It is specialist SEND-system guidance for parents, not diagnosis, treatment or legal representation. The first session checks whether changed needs or other red flags call for updated professional reports, a GP, NHS or CAMHS route, or a different next step.
Can I use this every year?
Yes. It is designed to fit around each annual review, so you can check each year that the plan still matches your child and the agreed provision is being delivered.
