The research behind it
Structured Literacy Support is informed by the research behind structured literacy, the approach with the strongest evidence base for dyslexia: systematic synthetic phonics, morphology (how words are built) and fluency practice. It is rooted in the same research base as the Rose Review, the independent review of the teaching of early reading, without promising a particular result.
Is this for me?
Your child is falling behind classmates, avoids reading or guesses at words, and school's interventions have not shifted it.
The eight tutoring sessions are with your child, 1:1 at home, while you join only the two online parent sessions.
Dyslexia has been named, but nobody has shown you what to do next.
Reading at home has become a nightly battle, with avoidance or your child saying they are stupid.
You do not know whether pushing on is helping, and want a routine built around how your child learns.
Want the whole pathway? The full programme runs to 10 sessions over 12 weeks, starting with these three sessions. See the full programme fits better.

Common questions
Is three sessions enough?
For a lot of families, yes. Each session ends with clear next steps, and plenty of parents find three focused sessions with one specialist is what they needed. You can stop there with nothing else to pay.
Can I go on to the full programme afterwards?
Yes. The full programme is 10 sessions over 12 weeks and starts with these same three, so tell us you have done the starter and we will set up just the remaining sessions with the same specialist, priced as a programme.
Do I need a diagnosis first?
No. Tell us what you are seeing in your own words. Your specialist works from how your child actually is, not from a label.
