Evening slot after the kids were down, no judgement about the state of our routines, and a written plan I could actually follow the next morning. Home doesn't feel like a battle anymore.
Bedtime, mornings, the lot — she helped us pick just one to fix first so we didn't get overwhelmed. We did bedtime, nailed it, then moved on. Brilliant approach for shattered parents.
Our specialist Helen helped us see the meltdowns as communication, not bad behaviour. That single shift changed how we respond and the whole mood at home with it.
I came in exhausted and a bit hopeless. Left with three things to try and a plan in writing. The bedtime one alone gave me my evenings back.
Sceptical husband here, dragged into it by my wife. Mostly won over. Some of the strategies worked better than others for our lad, but the transition warnings stuck and honestly they work on me too.
Matched the same evening. Our specialist had been an OT and the sensory side of the meltdowns suddenly made sense. We added a movement break before homework and it's night and day.

Common questions
Will I be told I'm doing it wrong?
Never. You know your child better than anyone. The specialist's job is to add ideas and a fresh pair of eyes, not to grade your parenting.
Will one session be enough?
Try a single session first. If you'd like to embed changes and check back in as you go, book a couple — or our Everyday Calm bundle gives you that continuity with the same specialist for less.
