Speech & language support

Talking, understanding, stammering, selective mutism or AAC — guidance from a qualified speech and language therapist.

45-min video call·Written summary after the call·Matched in under 24 hours

This is for you if

  • Your child isn't talking, or understanding, the way you'd expect for their age.
  • There's stammering, selective mutism, or you're exploring communication aids (AAC).
  • You're on an NHS SaLT waiting list and want something to do in the meantime.

What you walk away with

A friendly view on where your child is and what's worth focusing on.
Specific activities and ways of talking that support communication at home.
Clarity on whether to push for an NHS or school referral, and how.
A written summary with the activities, so you're not relying on memory.

This isn't a substitute for a formal NHS assessment if your child needs one — it's expert guidance you can use now, and help working out what to ask for next.

Common questions

Is this proper speech and language therapy?

These sessions are delivered by HCPC-registered speech and language therapists and give you real, usable guidance. For a full course of clinical therapy, booking several sessions gives continuity; we'll always be honest if what you need is a formal NHS assessment.

Can the therapist see my child, or is it just me?

Either. Some sessions work best as a parent conversation; for others it helps to have your child on the call. We'll guide you on what suits your situation when you book.

Vetted before they ever meet your child
